Lamma This!
I had a terrific day riding the ferry to Lamma Island and hiking through a beautiful trail, but all this was short lived. Here I am at the end of the day minding my own business and taking pictures of a cat when this woman comes up to me and asks me why I’m taking pictures of her. Our exchange:
Ugly ho bag: Why are you taking pictures of me?
Me: What? I’m taking pictures of the cat
Ugly ho bag: I don’t like people taking pictures of me. Can I see what you took.
Me: Fine. (shuffles through pictures) Here’s a picture of me, my food, my beer, and the cat. Why would I take a picture of you?!
Ugly ho bag: Where’s the cat?
Me: You’re standing where it was lazily lying!
In reflection, I should have added, “Why would I take pictures of your ugly face? And the cat left because your ugliness scared it away!”
Now I can’t enjoy my beer because she proceeds to talk annoyingly loud with her friend. That ugly ho bag has fouled my mood.

This post totally made my evening!! Too funny!! She probably thought that you took her pictures to submit to PerezHilton.com.. You know how he has a section for posts about ugly people.. XD

I actually can’t speak too much Canto so I made her speak in broken Engrish instead. Hmm…I’ve never visited his site before, but I guess you would know. =p I was tempted to really snap a picture of her afterwards, but didn’t want to deal with the witch and her broom.

i’m not sure what the HK laws are, but it’s a public spot so you’re probably free to take whatever photos of whatever and whoever you want. nor did you have to validate your point of shooting the cat by showing her your shots. if she said that to me i’d be like hells no you can’t look at my photos. then insert the points you left out about her ugly face and then proceed to take more photos…pointing in her direction lol =P
